  • Forwarding Email: Netdata McAriel Consult processes selectively forwarded data from users to help with easy automation.

7.1 Forwarding Email

This feature on McAriel Consult allows users to create a forwarding email that receives selected data from their personal email. The purpose is to automatically receive specific transaction emails, which are filtered by the user, for efficient financial management.

The forwarded information includes the transaction details, such as the narration, amount, and bank balance.

It is important to note that McAriel Consult does not have access to the user’s email address or the data within it. When the user filters and forwards an email, only the selected or filtered emails are automatically received.

Once the transaction data is received, we no longer have access to that email unless it is forwarded again to the designated address.

Additionally, the user is responsible for correctly filtering the messages they wish to forward to McAriel Consult.

8. DATA SHARING

McAriel Consult may share your data with other users you authorize. The platform allows users to add their employees, and users have the ability to grant access to any features they choose on McAriel Consult.

Additionally, McAriel Consult may share your information with third-party providers you choose to interact with through the platform, or with third parties that integrate with McAriel Consult. These service providers add value to the overall financial management of your business, provided you opt into their services. However, to understand how these third parties process and protect your information, we recommend reviewing their privacy policies, terms of use, and websites.

McAriel Consult may also share your information when permitted by law.

In respect to any credit card or other payment processing details you have provided us, we commit that this confidential information will be stored in the most secure manner possible. We offer the use of a secure server.

All supplied sensitive/credit information is transmitted via Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology and then encrypted into our Payment gateway providers database only to be accessible by those authorized with special access rights to such systems, and are required to keep the information confidential.

After a transaction, your private information (credit cards, social security numbers, financials, etc.) is never kept on file.

We have also taken measures to comply with the provision of security facilities for the protection of your Personal Data through the set-up of firewalls, limited access to specified authorized individuals, encryption and continuous capacity building for relevant personnel.

Access to this data is limited to authorized individuals with special access rights, who are required to keep the information confidential.

After completing a transaction, your private information (such as credit card numbers, social security numbers, and financial data) is not stored.

McAriel Consult utilizes OpenAI (artificial intelligence) services to enhance our accounting functionalities, and our AI policy clearly outlines this. The policy details how user data is shared with OpenAI, the purposes behind this data sharing, and the potential impact on user privacy and security. Please note that we prioritize privacy and security, and McAriel Consult is ISO 27001 and SOC 2 Type 2 certified.

We may engage trusted third-party service providers to handle functions such as hosting and maintaining our servers and app, managing databases, email services, marketing, credit card processing, customer service, and fulfilling product or service orders you make through the app. To enable these services, we may share your personal information, and possibly some non-personal information, with these third parties.

Additionally, we may share parts of our log file data, including IP addresses, with third parties for analytics purposes, such as web analytics partners, application developers, and ad networks. When shared, your IP address may be used to estimate your general location, connection speed, whether you visited the app from a shared location, and the type of device you used. These third parties may aggregate information about our advertising and what you see on the app to provide auditing, research, and reporting for us and our advertisers.

We may share information (including personal information) about you with our Corporate Affiliates. Please note that any marketing or promotional emails we send will include an unsubscribe link at the bottom of the email.

In the event of a security breach resulting in the accidental or unlawful destruction, loss, alteration, unauthorized disclosure, or access to Personal Data, McArieal Consult will report the details of the breach to NITDA and other relevant authorities within 72 (seventy-two) hours of becoming aware of the breach.

Additionally, if we determine that the breach poses a risk to your rights and freedoms regarding your Personal Data, we will notify you within 7 (seven) days of becoming aware of the breach. This notification will include details of the breach, the risks to your rights and freedoms, and the steps we are taking to address and remedy the situation.
